While it seems they've withdrawn the propaganda as of this post/last going through DA to catch anything I might've (unintentionally) missed I'm still not returning here. With how fickle platforms these days tend to be, I'm looking to migrate my older art summaries onsite. This time it's 2020 & 2021!
As of right now, DeviantArt doesn't seem to force you to log-in to view most pics or show any signs of closing (knock on wood), but I feel more comfortable having at least my more notable pieces mirrored on my website in case anything happens. Especially because DA has a history of being unstable and/or betraying its userbase.
As of right now I'm not looking to migrate all of my older art on site, just what's relevant (I feel it's worth directing my energy elsewhere at the moment)
Notice about Artfight
Due to ongoing issues with the site I'm going to make this my last artfight. A tl:dr, tons of site mis-management has come to light over the past year or so and even if the event somehow runs next year It's finally driven me off.

I was giving it the benefit of the doubt bc I am in it for gifting art (hence why i was hesitant/unsure about participating at first) but the recent news of a mass mod exodus + Takaia pocketing funds / not paying the site's staff doesn't really sit well with me (especially because the currently appointed mods haven't been the greatest with the community
I am going to finish up my revenges though, but after this I'm gonna look for art trades & gifting games elsewhere…

Temporary Revival
I'm currently listing this as temporary because I'm not sure how this one will pan out (or given DA's history how DA itself will hold out) but I am going to temporarily revive this account
TL:DR - Twitter's completely borked at the moment (iirc: Elongated Muskrat put a limit to how many posts you can read that broke the site beyond that) & even though this isn't the first time the site broke this year, I really gotta start looking elsewhere
I'm not gonna bother posting my backlog from end of 2022-2023 (you can find that over on my website). I'm mostly just tired of migrating & don't feel like starting from scratch at the moment. Too busy with other things, I'll pick another platform later
